Hongfang received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She joined the Lim Lab in 2026. Her research focuses on elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases, with a particular interest in SCA1, HD, and FRDA, and to identify novel therapeutic targets and develop potential treatment strategies.
