Serena Sim

Serena is a Yale undergraduate student (Class of ‘24) in Silliman College pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. She plans to attend medical school after graduating. Serena is currently working with Victor to understand the molecular pathways involved in selective neurodegeneration of spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 (SCA1).  Serena is also working on understanding regional vulnerability for her senior thesis.  In her free time, Serena is a member of the Yale Cheer team and enjoys volunteering at the HAVEN Free Clinic.
